The dictionary of Amy

Murphy's Law (a.k.a ironic)...
Spending an hour and a half cleaning the kitchen, wiping counters, doing dishes, de-cluttering, cleaning stove, sweeping, moping. THEN 2 hours later coming home in the middle of a wind storm to find that the window that was left open has now been a factor in a plant being blown over and dirt being blown ALL over the kitchen. Then while eating dinner a sticky juice drink gets spilled and is now a huge puddle on said newly mopped floor. Then in a crying fit the 4 year old child goes into a coughing fit and ends up throwing up his dinner on the newly mopped floor.

If only the hard work that goes into cleaning a kitchen could just be enjoyed for at least 24 hours.

Oh Amy!! I know exactly how you feel. I had one of those days just this past week. I had cleaned one mess after another. Matt was gone during dinner, Paige gagged on an egg and threw up all over the floor, then Parker spilled an entire glass of milk. I was just about in tears. I know how you feel and some days it feels like all you do is clean up after everyone and you don't even get to enjoy it. I just tell myself, "this is just a short season in my life" I hope that is true!! Hope you have a better day today! Love ya!!!
