You know you need to go on a diet when...

A very cute 3 year old neighbor girl asks...
"Why are you fat?"
My answer "I like to eat."
She is such a cute girl and I am sure if her mom knew she had asked such a question she would be mortified! However my feelings are not hurt.
It is the truth.
I am fat.
I am trying (although I could defiantly try harder) to get it off and maybe this is the motivation I need. Right after I eat all the YUMMY peanut butter bars from Maceys. They are on sale for only $2.98 and today is Friday which means a facebook deal and that happens to be $2.00 off peanut butter bars.
I am going to enjoy the high calorie, high fat deliciousness that cost me only .98 and then when they are gone I'll hit the weight loss with a vengeance!

Enjoy some of those bars for me - they have me not eating any sugar or dairy. And when you are done enjoying the delicious treats - good luck with the weight loss!! Oh and a Happy Mother's Day as well!!

Ugh, Amy! I'm glad you didn't say a "13 yr. old neighbor girl" I would DIE!!! But, I've been asked by a little girl if I was having a baby?! Yep, kids are so sweet. :) I love those peanut butter bars and have consumed my share this week, too!!

Amy, I am mortified and sure I know exactly what 3 year old you are referring to! She asks me the same thing almost everyday... I am sorry my children where not raised better. I also enjoyed almost an entire package of peanut butter bars and have vowed to be better about the weight loss, we should start a club. Sorry again :(

i would have back handed her . . .just kidding. but little kids always say things that are hurtful. they don't know what the word tact is. i remember this one little girl asking me why i was so hairy when i was little and i just have to throw it out there that i was SUPER insecure about my hairy body when i was little. I had to just tell myself, she didn't mean to hurt your feelings! so silly huh, because now i don't care.

I love that you can laugh about it. I probably would have gone in the house and cried. I have a belly I need to loose and darn if I don't love icecream. Ah, the innocence of children. gotta love them.:)
